SMS means Short Message Service. It's commonly referred to as texting.
You can simply import mobile numbers by cutting and pasting a Comma delimited (CSV) file or by manually entering your numbers individually. Numbers can include an optional label/name and an email address. Contact details should be input as follows and there should be only one contact per line: phone number, the label/name, email address
We recommend, before uploading any contacts, creating a new address book for your new data. This allows you to manage your contacts more efficiently and easily send SMS campaigns to specific targeted lists. You can have as many phone books as you like.
Log in, and select Send Texts, type in your message and input the recipients number or select a phone book. Select when you would like to send the message, preview your message and then when you’re happy just click Send/Schedule SMS. You can choose to keep resending the message up to 24 hours after the initial send to ensure maximum delivery.
To fit on one message, it needs to be no more than 160 characters, messages longer than this will be split across more than one message on the phone, and will cost you more money.
You can send your text message to as many people as you like from your own PC assuming you have purchased enough credits.
SMS is available through all of the major mobile operators and is a basic feature on all mobile phones.
Pricing is volume driven and they range from as little as 2.2p to 4.9p per message. You will pay less per message the more texts you send.
Once you have registered with us you simply log-on and buy “credit bundles”. One credit is the cost of sending one message. The easiest way of buying credits is by using a credit card. See our pricing section for further details of our bundles.
There are no registration fees and no ongoing contract. You buy credits as you need them on a pay as you go basis.
Yes, we can provide you with a premium rate service where you charge your customer to send them a message. Please contact us for further details.
Use our delivery reports to monitor who received each message, and identify any invalid numbers that should be suppressed from future activity to prevent wasting your money. It's important to regularly maintain your contact list to suppress both invalid numbers and any opt-outs received from previous campaigns. Please view our Top 10 Tips for more information to optimise your activity.
All numbers you input and collect in your contact lists will remain exclusively yours to contact and manage. We won’t re-use them for any purpose.

Yes, you can prepare your message and set up a send time by day of week and time of day, giving you the flexibility to reach contacts at the optimum time. You can also set the system so that the message is sent out evenly between a set period which can be very useful if you are handling responses as it evens out the flow of calls into the contact centre.
This varies by campaign but responses of up to 40% aren't uncommon. One of our customers uses SMS to contact potential customers to sell them mobile phone upgrades and the response rate with customers requesting someone to call them back to discuss is currently 43%.
Yes, ensure that you have consent to send the message, clearly identify who is the sender, and provide a functional "opt-out" or unsubscribe facility.
